Professor Frances Mair
Professor Frances Mair is the Norie Miller Professor of General Practice and Head of General Practice and Primary Care. She is also Research Convenor for the Institute of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Glasgow. Frances leads an extensive programme of chronic illness, multimorbidity and digital health research that promotes a move to person-centred care, promoting the concept of “Minimally Disruptive Medicine (MDM)” which has gained traction internationally. She holds visiting professor appointments at the Universities of Liverpool and Southampton. She is a current member of the MRC Clinical Research Training Fellowship panel.
