#Red4Research: A Greater Glasgow and Clyde collaboration spotlighting those who participate in, support, and undertake clinical research
Patients admitted to researchâactive hospitals have more confidence in staff and are better informed about their condition and medication. Research makes a difference to patients' lives, but how do you get involved?
This event will explain about how clinical research happens in Greater Glasgow and Clyde. There will be presentations detailing the different departments that collaborate for successful research, and information about how new drugs are developed. We will consider what it is like to work as a research nurse and we will hear from patients about their experiences of taking part in research trials.
#Red4Research Day aims to demonstrate appreciation for all those who participate, undertake and support research.
Find out more at Red4Research - 2024 - NHS R&D Forum (rdforum.nhs.uk). This event is a collaboration between Glasgow Clinical Research Facility and The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and is suitable for patients, public and professionals who want to find out more about research.
All those who register will receive a link 2 days prior to the event.
Registration closes 5pm on 4th June
