NRS Primary Care Network GP Trainee Conference Bursary 2024/2025

Purpose of the Bursary Scheme

The aim of the Conference Bursary Scheme is to promote and encourage awareness, understanding and experience of research among GP Trainees and medical students, increasing research capacity & capability within Primary Care.

Recipients will receive a bursary of up to £600 to enable them to attend a conference of their choice. Some of the conferences available this year are:

• Scottish Academic GP Conference (ADEGS)
• Society for Academic Primary Care (SAPC)
• The Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME)
• The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) Conference

The bursary can be used to cover the costs of registration, travel and/or accommodation.

Who can apply?

GP Specialty (ST 1, 2 and 3), ScotGem (years 2 and 3) and 4th year medical students that have completed a Quality Improvement or research project.

How to Apply

Applications should be made using the electronic application form by 17th May 2024. 

Completed application forms should be submitted to Dr Ellen Drost, NRS Primary Care Network Manager, via email to e.m.drost@dundee.ac.uk.
